Vodacom, MTN and Cell C are three of our South African networks that provide a service that gives users the opportunity to put their current number onto a different SIM card, allowing for a larger SIM card capacity within the same operator or when moving to a preferred service provider. Stolen SIM cards can also be blocked so that information cannot be retrieved by thieves. The user is not inconvenienced by having to give out a new number to known contacts.
